Return policy

This return policy applies to purchases made at Camoufas by consumers in the Netherlands.

1. Statutory right of withdrawal

When making an online purchase, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving any reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, have received the product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify Camoufas unequivocally within this period that you wish to withdraw from the agreement.

This can be done by e-mail or via any online withdrawal feature provided by Camoufas.

Simply refusing or returning an order without notifying us of your withdrawal does not automatically count as a valid withdrawal.

2. Returning items after withdrawal

After you have withdrawn from the agreement, you must return the product within 14 days at the latest.

Return address:

Camoufas
Arubadreef 8
3563 SL Utrecht
Netherlands

The direct costs of returning the product are to be borne by the customer, unless Camoufas has explicitly indicated otherwise in advance.

Cabinets and other large or heavy items may not be eligible for return via standard parcel services. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for suitable return transport.

For products that cannot be returned by normal post due to their nature, the estimated return costs will be communicated to the customer before the agreement is concluded.

The customer is responsible for packing the product carefully for return transport.

3. Condition of the returned product

During the cooling-off period, you may examine and assess the product to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

If you handle the product beyond what is necessary for this purpose and this leads to a decrease in value, Camoufas may deduct this depreciation from the amount to be refunded.

Depreciation may occur in the following cases, among others:

  • scratches, dents, stains, or other damage that occurred after receipt;

  • missing parts, fasteners, accessories, or manuals;

  • assembly, disassembly, or use resulting in unnecessary visible signs of use or assembly;

  • damage due to insufficient or unsuitable packaging during return transport.

Camoufas determines any depreciation based on the actual condition of the returned product.

Opening the original packaging does not in itself void the statutory right of withdrawal. We request that customers keep the original packaging where reasonably possible and reuse it for the return shipment.

4. Custom-made and personalized products

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products manufactured according to the customer's individual specifications that are not prefabricated, when the product is made based on an individual choice or decision by the customer, or is clearly intended for a specific person.

This may include, for example, cabinets specifically manufactured for the customer based on individually provided dimensions, layouts, or other personal specifications.

When an order falls under this statutory exception, this will be clearly indicated before the agreement is concluded.

Choosing from standard dimensions, standard colors, or other standard options does not automatically mean the product is excluded from the right of withdrawal.

5. Refund

In the event of a valid full withdrawal, Camoufas will refund the purchase price and the costs of the standard delivery offered by Camoufas.

If you have chosen a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery, Camoufas does not have to refund the difference between the standard delivery costs and the chosen delivery method.

The direct costs for returning the product are for the customer's account if this has been clearly stated in advance.

Camoufas will make the refund within 14 days at the latest after receiving the notice of withdrawal.

Camoufas may withhold the refund until:

  • the returned product has been received; or

  • the customer has provided proof that the product has been sent back,

whichever occurs first.

The refund will in principle be made using the same payment method as the original payment, unless otherwise agreed.

In the event of a partial return, original delivery costs will only be refunded to the extent required by law.

6. Return transport

Returns must be packed carefully and in a manner suitable for transport.

For large furniture or cabinets, it may be necessary to use a suitable furniture or pallet carrier.

Return costs are for the customer's account if this has been indicated in advance.

Return shipments sent cash-on-delivery or shipments for which Camoufas must pay unexpected transport or receipt costs may be refused, insofar as these costs are the customer's responsibility according to the agreement.

The risk of improper packaging or damage caused by the customer's failure to pack with sufficient care may be borne by the customer.

7. Damaged, incomplete, or incorrectly delivered product

Have you received a damaged, incomplete, or incorrect product? Please contact Camoufas as soon as possible and state your order number and a clear description of the problem.

Wherever possible, we request that you include clear photos so that we can assess the problem more quickly.

If a product does not comply with the agreement, the statutory warranty rights apply.

These rights are separate from the right of withdrawal.

In the event of a legitimate claim under the statutory warranty, no costs will be charged for repairs or replacements that are legally the responsibility of Camoufas.

8. Statutory warranty

The statutory warranty applies to all consumer products from Camoufas.

This means that a product must meet what the consumer can reasonably expect, taking into account, among other things, the nature of the product, the price, the information provided, and normal use.

Camoufas does not limit the statutory warranty rights of consumers.

Damage caused by, for example, improper use, incorrect assembly by the customer, normal wear and tear, moisture, overloading, modifications by third parties, or external damage does not automatically fall under the statutory warranty.

Every warranty claim is assessed on the basis of the specific circumstances.

9. In-store purchases

For products purchased exclusively in a physical store, showroom, or other physical sales space of Camoufas, there is no general statutory right to return a non-defective product simply due to a change of mind.

Camoufas therefore does not offer a voluntary right of return or exchange for such purchases, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing at the time of purchase.

The statutory rights in the event of a defective product remain applicable.

10. Business purchases

The statutory right of withdrawal in this policy applies to consumers.

For customers acting in the exercise of a profession or business, there is no voluntary right of return unless Camoufas has agreed to this in writing in advance.

Separate terms and conditions may apply to business purchases.

11. Withdrawal notification

A consumer can submit a withdrawal via, among other means:

E-mail: info@camoufas.com

Please include, if possible:

  • name;

  • order number;

  • date of receipt;

  • which products you wish to return.

This additional information is intended to process the return faster and does not restrict the statutory right of withdrawal.
